My Art Journal

I've been busy making pages for my Art Journal. I so love the activity! Journaling, especially art journaling has given me a lot of quality "me time"! It gave me great comfort and company for the last couple of months, when I was home alone with a very limited access to the internet. I enjoy making the pages and it gives me such pleasure when I finish a beautiful page. Here are some of my pages:

Yoga

I have been interested with Yoga some years back but lately, I have been reading more about it. I think I really want to get into it. I had menstrual cramps last week and I searched for some yoga poses that help ease the cramps. I did those poses and I was really relieved of the pain. I also did poses that relieves stomach gas pain and it was really effective. Now I am decided to study and practice them seriously. I'm also thinking of checking out some yoga session at the gym. I hope it's affordable though!

Patience!

A lot of patience is what I am hoping, wishing and praying! I am really trying not to get annoyed over little things and I am slowly getting into it. But I don't think I would be successful when those little somethings keep going. I pray our neighbor would change their ways! They make me lose my patience and compassion! A nice approach was useless! Sigh...

Recent Book I Read

I just finished the book "Back to Blossom Street" by Debbie Macomber. I love it! I love the characters. It was a good and heartwarming novel. I think, a very recommendable book for arts & crafts lovers. Debbie Macomber really writes beautifully. I'm looking forward to my trip to the bookstore to get another book.

New Year's Resolution

Happy New Year!

I wonder what 2011 would be for me. I hope, wish and pray that it would be a happy, prosperous and blessed one!

It's been a couple of days now that the thought of making a new year resolution is prodding me. When was the last time I did that? Oh, I can't even remember! What to list down? Will I be able to keep it? Oh well, making the list would be easy but keeping them, I'm not so sure. But anyway, I am giving in to the prodding of my thoughts. I will not promise myself that I will fulfill them, but I will try my best to do them. Fair enough, I think. So, on to my list!

1. Try to have patience!
2. Try not to get irritated and angry easily.
3. Try to practice positive thinking.
4. Try not to spend money on unnecessary things.
5. Save, save and save!
6. Eat less!
7. Exercise if possible.

This is all for now.
