Scrapbooking Workshop

Oh... I'm so excited! I was out checking what's new in the scrapbook section at the mall when I saw the leaflet for the upcoming scrapbooking workshop in our area. It's still a month away but I'm really so excited!

Ribbons!

Ribbons, ribbons and ribbons! I'm falling in love with ribbons more and more each day lately! I just have to blog it. It's been in my head all day. I love ribbons since I was in high school. I would save my allowance and buy different colors to tie my hair. I also make some hair accessories with it. Oh, I remember those days!

Just recently, I bought some pretty ones by the yards. I bought them to use in my recent craft projects. They are just so pretty that I keep on looking at them! I signed up with some ribbon swaps and I'm so enjoying it!

Decoupaged Eyelet Hammer

I finally bought the eyelet setter I have been eying for quite so long now. Making things with eyelets are really easier with proper eyelet setting tools! Before, I just set my eyelets using a nail screw and our ordinary hammer. I admit, though the front of the eyelet is okay, the back is just not so! So, yesterday, I bought one. Today, after trying it out, I decided to make it look more girly. I was inspired by the eyelet setting tool with a Pink flowered prints on the hammer handle that I saw in a magazine. Since my new hammer has a wood handle, decoupaging it was the best thing for me to do. It also happened that I have this magazine where it has a print that I really like. It's a combination of pink and browns, stripes and paisleys... just what I like! So there, I now have a pretty eyelet setting hammer. It makes crafting even more exciting!
